This is a unique opportunity to lead the AI and automation department for a large, fast-growing digital agency.
You'll be primarily responsible for developing and implementing AI-powered solutions, automation strategies, and cutting-edge technologies across the agency's portfolio of large brands. You'll be responsible for building a department of talented AI engineers, data scientists, and automation specialists. And help redefine the standards for AI and automation agency-wide.
You'll report directly to the CTO.
Your gift is creating AI-powered solutions and automation that drive measurable, meaningful growth for any brand lucky enough to work with you.
You have a strong background in AI, machine learning, and automation, with a deep understanding of how these technologies can be leveraged to improve performance across digital advertising, customer experience, and internal processes.
You're knowledgeable about the latest developments in AI, machine learning, and natural language processing, and you have experience working with platforms like ChatGPT.
You're confident, innovative, and driven.

Here’s what you’ll do:
80% – Developing and implementing AI-powered solutions and automation strategies
- Research and identify opportunities for AI and automation within the agency and client campaigns
- Develop and deploy AI models, machine learning algorithms, and automation tools to improve performance across various aspects of the business
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of AI-powered solutions and automation strategies
- Monitor and optimize AI and automation performance, making adjustments as needed
- Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in AI, machine learning, and automation, and continuously explore new tools and techniques
NOTE: You won't personally develop all solutions. You'll have a talented team and a budget to hire. Can you drive innovation and deliver results consistently?
20% of your time will go toward managing people and processes
- Mentor and manage a team of AI engineers, data scientists, and automation specialists
- Bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of AI and automation projects
- Manage and optimize the AI and automation development process
- Build the team to handle increased demand and scale
- Develop and maintain relationships with external AI and automation vendors and partners
Requirements
Here’s what you’ll have:
- Must have experience in AI, machine learning, and automation within a digital agency or similar environment
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deploy AI-powered solutions and automation strategies that deliver results
- Strong knowledge of digital advertising, customer experience, and internal processes
- Experience with platforms like ChatGPT and other AI technologies
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in programming languages like Python, R, or similar
- Experience with managing and growing technical teams
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact well with multiple departments

The estimated salary range for this position is $150,000 - $250,000.
